I have a cart made by Eddies Wheels that I would like to find a good home for.
It was custom made for a Greyhound/Ridgeback cross who developed DM.
Since I found it impossible to lift my 80 pound dog into the fixed "saddle" of the cart, the cart has been modified to work with the Hartman's Hip Helper harness (http://www.hartmanharness.com/). The Fixed metal saddle was removed and an arched support was welded on to hang the Hartman's Harness on. The Hartman's harness is included.
If you have a tall, slender dog that has reasonable strength in his front legs, you may be interested in this cart.
Go to Eddies Wheels (www.eddieswheels.com) and check out the measurement specifications. My dogs measurements were as follows:
A: 26"
B: 15"
C: 7"
D: 18"
F: 7.5"
E: 9"
I paid over $400 for this custom made cart. I will accept any offer if you have a dog who needs this cart if they are of a similar size to my dog. The cart simply will not work if inappropriately sized!
I also have several belly bands and diapers for a male dog, a special Greyhound-type leash/collar and a large dog bed that I would like to see go on to help another animal.
This set up gave my dog and I many more months together. My hope is that these things can help someone else.
You will need to arrange shipping or pickup from Austin, Texas.
Thank you,
Holly
